Earlier in July, I paid a visit to Tim’s new workshop location at the forgery in London’s Water Museum. For a bit of back story, Tim is a chef knife forger, sharpening sensei and he’s definitely changing the world with every knife he makes.
Clement Knives are forged out of super-high quality steel and the handles are made out of recycled plastic all collected by Tim along the River Thames, in the canals around London and throughout the city.
After a quick catch up, Tim got to do some work and I just snapped away; this is the way I like to shoot as it pushes my creativity to get something extraordinary out of ordinary routines and at the same time, my subjects forget I’m there and they just get on with work which makes them look more comfortable in front of the camera.
